Optional Pre-Season Strength & Conditioning


Athletes & Parents,

FREE and OPTIONAL pre-season strength and conditioning program for the Stillwater Girls Lacrosse Team will be STARTING ON MONDAY February 4th. OSI Physical Therapy is very excited about the opportunity to help you prepare for the season, and we hope you take advantage of this program!

When: February 4th - March 29th (NO training over spring break)

Days: Mondays, Wednesdays*, and Fridays

Times: 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Location: Pony Activity Center (meet outside the weight room by the indoor track)
*Wednesdays February 20th, 27th, March 6th, 20th and 27th during Captains Practice at St. Croix Rec Dome

Cost: FREE (regular attendance is required if participating)

Kylie Ohlmiller Clinic

Learn lacrosse tips, tricks, and insights from one of the best to play the game! Kylie Ohlmiller (Stony Brook Class of 2018) is a current member of the United States Women's National Team/Team USA (USWNT). She finished her career at Stony Brook as: the NCAA Division 1 all-time leader for points NCAA Division 1 all-time leader for assists a two-time Tewaaraton Award finalist the number 1 overall draft pick (2018) for the New York Fight of the Women's Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL). She is sponsored by both New Balance Lacrosse and Brine Lacrosse. Kylie will go over the following areas with our players: stickwork, footwork, stickhandling, dodging shooting the main IQ points of both man-up/man-down and even-sided situations Kylie will be holding two clinics at the Univ. of Wisc. - River Falls Knowles Fieldhouse Date: Sunday, February 17, 2019 Times: Youth (1st-6th grades)/Beginner - 9:00 am- 10:30 am High School (7th -12th grade)/Advanced from 10:30 am-12:00 pm (noon). Space is limited so don't miss out on your chance to learn from who ESPNW dubbed the Human Highlight Reel in women's lacrosse.

Concordia Twin Cities Preseason Clinic

Twin Cities Preseason Clinic Our camp is designed to prepare players for their upcoming high school season. The clinic combines a strong emphasis on the technical, tactical and physical attributes of the individual player to enhance her lacrosse development. This EIGHT-week clinic will work on station work emphasizing individual skill work offensively, defensively, and on advanced team tactics. There will also be goalie specific training. Each training session will conclude with a scrimmage allowing players the opportunity to apply the topics covered in the training session into a live game environment. You and your team have the opportunity to be taught by the best coaches in the state, each week you will be instructed by a different college in the twin cities including- Concordia St. Paul, Hamline University, Augsburg University, UW-River Falls and St. Thomas. Space is extremely limited! We are only allowing 6 teams and 20 individual registrations. You are able to sign up as a team (maximum of 10 players) or as an individual. Hamline College Clinics / Tournaments

College-Bound Clinic Advanced College-Bound players in grades 9-12th Sunday, February 17, 2019 12:30pm-3:30pm $35, limited to 30 players Click Here to Register! This 3 hour clinic is designed for girls in grades 9-12 who would like to play lacrosse in college and will provide them with what it feels like to participate in a full-length, up-tempo practice at the next level. Drills will emphasize strong fundamentals in creative game situations including draw control techniques and tips, aggressive defensive strategies for takeaways, and confidence and deception as tactics to becoming a stand out attacker. The on-field session will be followed by a panel discussion and Q & A with coaches and players on what life is like as a collegiate athlete and best practices for making a smooth transition from high school to college. Great clinic to come to if you’re interested in learning more about Hamline University or playing lacrosse at any college. February 10- Skills & SpeedLax! It’s time to get in gear with your school or community team and get ready for the Spring Season! Get tons of ball touches in this fast-paced, action packed 1-day 4v4 Championship format tournament! Field 1 or more teams from your school or community team and get ready for lacrosse spring season. There are awards for 1st, 2nd place winners and the Tournament Sportsmanship Award.
